"America is humanity’s biggest enemy" part 23

Pakistan on America’s hit list: LHCBA president

LAHORE: The US is preparing to attack Iran and Syria and has also put Pakistan on its hit-list, said Lahore High Court Bar Association president Ahmad Awais and Justice (r) Fakharun Nisa Khokhar while addressing the bar’s general house on Thursday. “America is humanity’s biggest enemy,” they said.

Both speakers said that US President George W Bush was a war criminal because he had condemned thousands of innocent people to death in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Even women and children were not spared,” they said.

Awais and Khokhar deplored the fact that Pakistani rulers were turning a blind eye to America’s doing and were busy pleasing Washington. The speakers said that Pakistan had lost its standing in the global community because it was pursuing undemocratic values. They said that an undemocratic ruler at the helm of affairs had put the country’s sovereignty at stake and had provided India the opportunity to construct the Baglihar Dam on Chenab. They said that India was planning to change the direction of river water because it wanted to fulfil its dream of turning Pakistan into a desert. The general house also moved a resolution presented by Barrister Zafarullah Khan to condemn the Pakistani government for it silence over the construction of the Baglihar Dam. staff report
